Today is the second class in our new four-class set. We have a short reading and our listening material is an introduction to a new piece of listening material.
The phrase of the week is, "demand the ouster." This is a good phrase for protests. To oust someone means to drive them out. For example, "The angry students demanded the ouster of the abusive teacher."
Today's reading is about Korean Airlines and our listening material is the first part of Serial, a podcast that was very popular in America. I want to try to listen to it with you. Our vocabulary words will come from the reading. Please be able to describe them and provide examples. There is no transcript for the listening material.
