Independent Study 4

Today is the second class in our current four-class set. The phrase of the week is, "left out." This phrase uses the past tense form of leave. To leave out something means to omit it. We often use left out to describe social situations. For example, "Birthday parties are difficult because some children are left out. They feel sad when they are not included."

Today's reading is about sneaker culture and our listening material is out second love story. The vocabulary words will come from our reading. I will ask you questions about the listening material. Please be able to describe the vocabulary words in class.
