Welcome to your first class. Today is the first class of our new four-class set. We will begin class with a review of several grammar books that I have selected. We will also edit a work email.
The phrase of the week is, "bear fruit." We use this phrase to describe something that has produced results. For example, "My diet is starting to bear fruit. I have lost two pounds this week."

Vocabulary
- skepticism- (noun) a skeptical attitude; doubt as to the truth of something.
- hype- (verb) promote or publicize (a product or idea) intensively, often exaggerating its importance or benefits.
- asset- (noun) a useful or valuable thing, person, or quality. OR property owned by a person or company, regarded as having value and available to meet debts, commitments, or legacies.
- pipeline- (noun) in terms of business it refers to the flow of potential clients which a company has developed. It also could refer to the products a company plans to sell.
