Welcome to your first class. We will begin class with a casual conversation. Next, we will discuss your education goals. You have a short reading and some listening material. The purpose of the reading is to build your vocabulary. Please underline three words or phrases that are not familiar to you. I will ask you to share them with me in class. The listening material is focused on time. I have selected longer listening so you can listen while working or doing other activities. Don’t worry about accuracy. Just focus on time and try to finish. Finally- I will introduce a short writing program- using google docs.
