Today is the first class in our new four class set. We will begin class by getting to know each other better. Please be prepared to introduce yourself, ask, and answer questions. I will introduce the idioms book. We will complete unit 1 and introduce unit 2. Our reading today is about life satisfaction. Please read and underline any words or phrases that you do not know. I want you to ask questions in class. Our listening material is a story from Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul. For now, just listen and we will discuss it in class. In the future I will give you writing questions about the listening material.
