Today is the last class in our current four-class set. We will begin class with our collocations exercise. Our reading this week is about legacy and ethics for university students. Our listening material is an update on Adnan's trial. Our vocabulary words will come from the reading. Please be able to identify them in class. 

Vocabulary

  • obligation - (noun) an act or course of action to which a person is morally or legally bound; a duty or commitment.
  • inequality - (noun) difference in size, degree, circumstances, etc.; lack of equality.
  • autism- (noun) a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts.
  • condone-  ccept and allow (behavior that is considered morally wrong or offensive) to continue.
