Today is the first class in our new four-class set. The phrase of the week is, "embrace the internet." When we embrace something we accept it and use it willingly. For example, "I have embraced the fact I will live in Korea for the rest of my life." I understand the fact and I am content with the result. 
 

Today's reading is about ERP Systems. The listening material is a comedy skit from SNL. Please answer the listening questions. The vocabulary words will come from the reading. Please be able to describe them in class.

• plethora- (noun) a large or excessive amount of (something).
• standalone - (adj) (of computer hardware or software) able to operate independently of other hardware or software.
• diminish- (verb) make or become less. make (someone or something) seem less impressive or valuable.
• antiquated - (adj) old-fashioned or outdated.
