Today is the last class in our current four-class set. We will begin with grammar unit 17. Our reading today is parenting and pushing your kids. The vocabulary words will come from our reading. Please be able to identify them in class. 

Vocabulary

• abstract- (adj) existing in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence. (verb) consider (something) theoretically or separately from something else. (noun) a summary of the contents of a book, article, or formal speech.
• resentment- (noun) bitter indignation at having been treated unfairly.
• catastrophic - (adj) involving or causing sudden great damage or suffering. extremely unfortunate or unsuccessful.
• interfere - Verb) prevent (a process or activity) from continuing or being carried out properly. handle or adjust (something) without permission, especially so as to cause damage.
