In Depth Discussion

Today is the first class of our new four-class set. We will begin class with our directions exercises.

The phrase of the week is, "has turned into a cesspool." The literal meaning is a place where wastewater is collected. We also use it to describe a disgusting or corrupt place. For example, "Many Americans think Las Vegas has turned into a cesspool."

Today's reading is about Boracay. For the next four weeks, we will listen to some love stories. They should be fun and easy to understand. Our vocabulary words will come from our reading. Please be able to describe them in class.
