Vocabulary
- depreciation- (noun) a reduction in the value of an asset with the passage of time, due in particular to wear and tear.
- amortization- (noun) is an accounting term that refers to the process of allocating the cost of an intangible asset over a period of time. It also refers to the repayment of loan principal over time.
- discretion- (noun) the quality of behaving or speaking in such a way as to avoid causing offense or revealing private information. OR the freedom to decide what should be done in a particular situation.
- metric- (noun) technical- a system or standard of measurement. (adj) of or based on the meter as a unit of length; relating to the metric system.
