Today is the second class in your current four-class set. We will begin class with a conversation. We will have two pieces of listening material this week. One is about Success Academy from a podcast called Startup and the other will be the end of chapter 1 of the Sorcerer’s Stone.

For Success Academy please write a short response to the episode. I want you to answer this question. Do you think elementary education should be focused on teaching a child to enjoy learning or should it be skills based to prepare a student for middle school, high school, and ultimately college? You don’t need to follow your AWA style- just write what you feel and try to be convincing.
