Today is the fifth class in our current thirteen-class set. We will begin with a review of your writing assignment. Your homework is to combine the three past writing assignments into one handwritten document. 

Our reading material is about mentors. Please be able to explain the vocabulary words. 

Vocabulary

• prevailing- (adj) having the most appeal or influence; prevalent. OR existing at a particular time; current.
• assumption- (noun) a thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof.
• esteem- (verb) respect and admire. 
• obsess- (verb) preoccupy or fill the mind of (someone) continually, intrusively, and to a troubling extent.
