Today is the third class of our current four-class set. The phrase of the week is, "dabbled in." We use this phrase to describe having experienced something. For example, "I have dabbled in web development, but I am far from being an expert."
Today's reading is about the growing popularity of podcasts. Our listening material is a segment from an interview with the founder of Vuzelaa. We are going to take a look at some different accents. Our vocabulary words will come from the reading, please be able to describe the vocabulary words.
Vocabulary
- innovation- (noun) a new method, idea, product, etc.
- traction- (noun) the extent to which a product, idea, etc., gains popularity or acceptance. OR the grip of a tire on a road or a wheel on a rail.
- content- (noun) information made available by a website or other electronic medium. (adj) in a state of peaceful happiness.
- reiterate- (verb) say something again or a number of times, typically for emphasis or clarity.
