Today is the third class in our current 17-class set. We will begin class with a review of your previous writing assignment. This week's writing assignment will be the second paragraph of your self-introduction essay. I want you to write 4-5 sentences about your decision to study Japanese and how you got into investment work. 

The reading this week is about how you should behave at a holiday work party. The phrase of the week is, "lured into thinking." We use this phrase to describe being attracted or tricked into thinking something. For example, "I was lured into thinking I wouldn't be able to apply to graduate school."
