In Depth Discussion

Today is the third class in our current four class set. We will begin with country capitals speaking exercise. This week is South and Central America.

The phrase of the week is,  "pretty handy." This phrase is used to describe someone who is good a fixing or building with their hands. For example, "My grandfather was very handy, he could fix anything. We also use 'handy' to mean useful and within reach. For example, "I keep tissues handy in my backpack.

Our reading this week is about an inheritance dispute and our listening material is about flower arranging. There will be no transcript for the listening material, so listen hard. I recommend three or four times at least. Please listen for the vocabulary words and create examples for them.
