Welcome to your first class. Today is the first class in our new four class set. We will begin class with a review of units 1 and 2 in our grammar book.
The phrase of the week is, "across the board." We use this phrase to describe something that applies to all or nearly all. For example, "The company has promised to increase salaries across the board, so everyone will get a pay rise." I will ask you to provide and example in class using this phrase.
The reading material today is about the bamboo ceiling and our listening material is an introduction to Bitcoin. Please listen and create examples for the vocabulary words.
