Today is the last class in our current four class set. The phrase of the week is, "double-edged sword." This phase describes something both harmful and good. For example, "Watching television is a double-edged sword. It helps me relax, but I know that I also waste too much time."

Vocabulary
- venue- the place where something happens, especially an organized event such as a concert, conference, or sports event.
- rounds- (as a noun) an act of visiting each of a number of people or places. OR a circular piece of a particular substance. OR ammunition. (as a verb)- pass and go around (something) so as to move on in a changed direction. OR alter (a number) to one less exact but more convenient for calculations.
- howling- producing a long, loud, doleful cry or wailing sound.
- horizons- the line at which the earth's surface and the sky appear to meet.OR the limit of a person's mental perception, experience, or interest.
