In Depth Discussion (Red 2)

Today is the first class in our new four class set. We will begin our class with some lip reading. The phrase of the week is, "rise from the ashes." We use this phrase to describe something that has been reborn or has made a comeback. My times we use the metaphor of a phoenix that rises from the ashes. For example, "The entire west section of the city was destroyed and a group of new buildings rose from the ashes in only a few months."

Today's reading is about modern Hanok houses and our listening material is about French prisons. Please listen and create examples for the vocabulary words.

Vocabulary
