In Depth Discussion

Today is the last class in our current four class set. We will not have class next week, June 8th. Our class will resume on June 15th.

We have two phrases this week. The first is, "hooked on." We use this phrase to describe being addicted to something or someone. For example, "Recently, I have been hooked on the TV show House of Cards." Our next phrase is, "clean break." This phrase is used to describe completely getting rid of something in your life. For example, "I wanted a clean break from my first girlfriend." I will ask to provide examples for each of these phrases.

Today's reading material is about taking care of goldfish and our listening material is about cloud eggs. Please listen and prepare examples for our vocabulary words.
