Today is the third class in our April four class set. We will begin class with week 3 of our Vocabulary Challenge. 

                            The phrase of the week is, "the other extreme." We use this phrase to describe a spectrum. For example, "Some children love the read, but the other extreme doesn't even know how to read." It is a more dramatic way of saying, 'on the other hand.' 

                             Today's reading is a rant on the Dr. Dao incident. Our listening material is about survivors of the Virgina Tech shooting that happened ten years ago. Please listen and create examples for the vocabulary words.
