In Depth Discussion

Today is the last class in our current four-class set. We will begin class with our American Slang exercise.

The phrase of the week is, "a fortnight earlier." A fortnight indicates two weeks prior. For example, "We stayed a fortnight in Guam." Our vacation was 14 days.

Today's reading is about Van Gogh and our listening material is about seltzer. Please be able to describe the vocabulary words.

Vocabulary
