In Depth Discussion

Today is the third class in our current four-class set. We will begin class with our American slang exercise.

The phrase of the week is, "a litany of..." We use this phrase when we want to describe a large quantity, also when something is repeated. For example, "My mother gave me a litany of suggestions. In turn, I gave her a litany of excuses."

The reading this week is an article on the BTS' new album and our listening material is about the worst advice Tim Ferriss has ever received. We will do another extended listen and write exercise, so please practice. Please be able to explain the vocabulary words.

Vocabulary
