Welcome to your first class. We will begin class with our grammar book. I want to review the first couple of chapters. 

The listening material is about share bike in China that don't need to be docked. Please be able to describe the vocabulary words. 

Vocabulary

• barcode- verb- A barcode is an optical, machine-readable, representation of data; the data usually describes something about the object that carries the barcode
• batter- verb- strike repeatedly with hard blows; pound heavily and insistently.
• clog- noun- a shoe with a thick wooden sole. OR an obstruction verb- block or become blocked with an accumulation of thick, wet matter. OR fill up or crowd (something) so as to obstruct passage.
• fleece- noun- the woolly covering of a sheep or goat. OR a jacket or other garment made from a fleece fabric. verb- obtain a great deal of money from (someone), typically by overcharging or swindling them.
