ERT Saturday Edition

Today is our extra class. We will begin with a review of a couple chapters in our grammar book and a translation exercise.

The phrase today is, "dark truth." We use this phrase when we want to talk about something that we are not proud of. For example, "The dark truth is that many people are prejudice."

Our reading today is about the Las Vegas shooting and our listening material is about the Feynman Technique. We will use the Feynman Technique with our vocabulary words.

Vocabulary

  • deepen- to become deeper or more profound
  • analogy- a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.
  • method- a particular form of procedure for accomplishing or approaching something, especially a systematic or established one.
  • notorious- famous or well known, typically for some bad quality or deed.
