Today is the first class of our new four class set. We will begin class with a writing prompt. This week's question is, "who would you like to reconnect with?" 

                    The phrase of the week is 'at stake'. When something is at stake, there is a risk of losing it. For example, "If I continue to gain weight, my health will be at stake." Please prepare an example for class. 

                     Our reading this week is about middle class identity and the listening material is about Asian Americans. Please listen for and create examples for the vocabulary words.
