ERT Saturday Edition

Today is the last class in our current four class set. We will begin class with unit 57 in our grammar book.

Our phrase of the week is, "throw yourself into..." We use this phrase to describe putting all your effort into something. It could be good, but often it is negative. For example, "I don't spend enough time with my children because I throw myself into my work."

Our reading this week is an opinion piece about leadership, remember we do not always have to agree with what is printed. Today's listening material is about Airbnb. Please listen for and create examples for the vocabulary words.

Vocabulary

  • ambitions
  • immerse
  • toe to toe
