ERT Thursday Edition

Today is the second class of our current November four class set. We will begin class with unit 16 in our grammar book.

Our phrase of the week is, " but the damage had been done." We use this phrase to describe that no amount of fixing can solve the problem. For example, "It was my wife's birthday yesterday. I forgot to say, 'happy birthday' in the morning before I left for work. I remembered on my way home and bought a cake but the damage had already been done."

Today's reading is about Hyundai Motors and some of the struggles they are having. The listening material is about a Doctor's views on his own terminal illness. Please listen for and make examples for the vocabulary words.

Vocabulary
