Today is the first class of our current four class set. We will begin with some sentence diagramming. 

                        Our phrase of the week is, "The latter..." We use this phrase to highlight the last item in a previously introduced list. For example, "Dogs, Cats, and Tigers have sharp teeth. The latter have been known to kill humans." The tigers are the last on the list, so there for they are "the latter."

                         Our reading this week is about mansplaining, which is a slang word that suggests men tend to explain things and talk more than women. Our listening material is about Wonder Woman. Please listen for and create examples for the vocabulary words.
