Today is the first class of our October four class set. We will begin with Unit 50 in our grammar book. 

                          Our phrase of the week is, "not even a penny." This phrase refers to the absence of money. a penny is another term for a one cent coin in American currency. For example, "I found my purse later but all the money was gone, not even a penny was left."

                            Our reading today is about a woman in New York City and her Sunday routine. Today's listening material is about performance reviews at work. Please listen for and create examples for the vocabulary words.
