Today is the third class of our October four class set. We will begin class with our sentence diagramming.
Our phrase of the week is, "not even a penny." This phrase refers to the absence of money. a penny is another term for a one cent coin in American currency. For example, "I found my purse later but all the money was gone, not even a penny was left."
Today's reading is the second half of The Shower. The question we will try and answer is, "what was the conflict?" We will go over the basic parts of a story and prepare for our Fall Assessment.
Today's listening material is about Cup Noodle. I had these all the time when I was a kid and am very fond of them. Please listen for and create examples for the vocabulary words.
