Today is the second class of our current four class set. We will have a speaking test on December 3rd. The test questions will be posted next week. 

              We will start class with a dialogue about a woman who is approached by a man while she is on a layover at an airport. Our reading material is by David Sedaris and touches on multiple themes including old age, house guests, and relationships. 

             The listening material is a TED Talk by architect Moshe Safdie and he shares his innovative designs for apartments. Please listen for this week vocabulary words while watching the listening material. Also, do not stress out about the reading material. Please read it once and after we discuss it in class you can read it again!
